If Samsung had press events like Apple they would be like this: Hey guys, this is note 9,here are all it's features! Will be released soon. Stocks goes up, releases note 9 10 months later.

Stop crying as you know your gonna get it when it’s released anyway. I’m glad Apple aren’t rushing this as you know what happens when products are rushed. Hell, just ask Google and especially Samsung. 💯

Myself and a few others have had issues with AirPods connecting to our phones. Just confirmed with an Apple tech and it's a known issue with IOS 11 that if you have the Apple Watch Series 3 more than likely it will interfere with the AirPods connection causing dropped audio as well as feedback during calls. I love all of my Apple products but it really looks like this has been the year that the seamless integration of their products have really broken down. Definitely disappointing to see.

It’s okay if they take their time :’) they should take a two year delay for new products that will actually innovate. Or more if they have to. It’s burning out. Delays are okay.

I mean apple does tend to over joy every one on their products but I really think this home pod is going to be better than the rest of the competition. And we R talking about the greatest tech company in the world so I really think they are going to figure it out

This video is such a sad reflection of the shallow, materialistic times we live in. Let’s all sit down and grapple with the harsh reality of a company postponing their luxury speaker product for a few months to make sure it lives up to their quality expectations. Whatever will we do in the meantime? Not only can I not believe this qualifies as serious news, but that it justified a standalone fireside chat video.

Are you really that upset about the HomePod not being ready? Most people are still trying to recover from that iPhone X bill. LOL..HomePod is not something that is really going to change people's lives. I rather them do it right than rushing it out and it flops.

Gone were the days of Apple announcing something that is available the same day or sometime soon. Just like other companies now… high five Tim!

Apple has been disappointing us steadily since 2016, so nothing really surprises me anymore.

it's a kind of brainwashing of its custumers Apple are doing.. they make the die hard Apple fans wait to get the Air Pods till they got foams around their mouths.. they don't want to be in a situation like this again, that is for sure… they will be submissive and follow Apple's indirect brainwashing commands. It's is between the lines -> "buy our products, BUUUUUYYYY OUR PRODUUUUUCTS!!!!" Apple is like a ghost

I just want the HomePod as a good speaker. Siri is just a bonus and I have an Apple Music subscription.

Tim is a businessman, so I guess Apple will continue to grow but their products are going to be more and more average. Our bars just got raised high by Steve so get real. And I’m not gonna by Homepods anyway because I don’t like Apple Music verses Spotify. (But I do respect that Apple treats artists better than Spotify, so if their suggested radio reads my mind better in the future I will switch)

I’m a super Apple fan but must admit I’m slowly entering the Android world. I’m already a Sonos owner and Google assistant is coming in a few months and i just bought the Pixel XL. Not only has Apple had delays, the cost of its products are also climbing while other companies pump out fun and innovative tech at a little bit more affordable prices.

I should also point out that I’m leaving in Sweden as well and we’re waiting even longer for products sometimes. That’s a bad Apple!

Perhaps now that Siri is under the Software Dev team, they can give it the attention it deserves. That might be part of the delay!!

You hit the nail on the head Brian!

I am a fan of Apple and its products but missteps like this just slowly chip away at the Apple brand. Maybe we’re just waxing nostalgic about the Steve Jobs era and the ability to delight and surprise us consumers. That time has come and gone, likely to Steve Jobs’ grave. Steve Jobs never gave a rip about shareholders, he only cared about making the best product possible and that passion was shown in the products. I think today’s Apple is focused more on the needs of the shareholder which are earnings and share price.

I just want Apple to get back to making beautiful and well designed products (not looking at you iPhone battery case) that just work.

Apple is a shadow of its former self and if it had not locked its customers so hard into it's services many would go running. In every single department they have been slacking and its been years in the making. They jumped the gun on the homepod knowing amazon, google and others were about to own the market place so they so announced early to try keep customers on the hook. Same for the iMac Pro, the "AirPower" and even the iPhone X is clearly a year too early out the door. Promises of things coming down the line then pushing deadlines will ruin the opinion of all but the heavily devoted fan base.

    @BrianTong –

Very much appreciated this video because Apple does need a reality check. I was one of those customers who waited for the iPhone 4 in white… and waited… and waited. I queued for the 2G and 3G on launch day, and after about 6 months of waiting for the 4 in white I moved over to HTC and have never purchased another iPhone since. All because they left me hanging. A lesson they should not dismiss.
