If you cancel your Xfinity cable/dsl then you can't continue using the cellular service (Xfinity Mobile) as a result, you will have to switch to att or verizon, etc…not only that, you probably will pay ETF for both Cable/Dsl + cellular… double ETF

Not sure whats up with the hate with Comcast but shit my home internet plan (Blast) paired with an Arris stand alone modem connected through my ASUS RT-AC88U is smooth as butter. Even my X1 cable box works flawless providing your signal strength and wiring in the home are good. Have had the same exact X1 box since Nov 2015 and not ONE single issue. So this mobile service has the possibility to be at least decent.

If you're an Android user, ignore this and go to Google's Project Fi. No contracts and the rates are better.
Also, you won't have to give Verizon and Comcast you money.
